What is a CHEK Nutrition and Lifestyle Coach?

A Nutrition and Lifestyle Coach (NLC) is trained to help people achieve optimal health. Most people define heath simply as the absence of diagnosed illness. An NLC takes a more holistic approach when defining health by evaluating many factors, including:

  • digestive, respiratory and musculoskeletal systems
  • nutritional and sleep habits
  • possible food allergies, etc.
  • stress levels
  • outlook on life
  • breathing habits, etc.

All of these areas are intertwined, and when one of them is out of balance, overall health and wellness is affected. By identifying problem areas, an NLC can help you change your internal and external environment to allow you to slow the aging process, increase your vitality, and experience what it feels like to be truly healthy.
